Creator Insights ("we", "the app") helps a YouTube creator view the analytics of their own channel. This policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we access
When you sign in with Google and grant access, the app reads — in read-only mode — the YouTube Analytics of the channel(s) you authorize: metrics such as views, watch time, thumbnail impressions and click-through rate. We request only these scopes:
.../auth/yt-analytics.readonly— view your YouTube Analytics reports..../auth/youtube.readonly— identify your channel to show the right data.
We do not request permission to upload, edit, delete or manage your videos or channel.
How we use it
The data is used for a single purpose: to display your own analytics back to you inside the app. We do not sell it, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising or any purpose other than providing the service to you.
Google API Services — Limited Use
Creator Insights' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and retention
Access tokens are stored only for as long as needed to provide the service and are protected. You can revoke the app's access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately stops any further access.
Data deletion
To request deletion of any data associated with your account, revoke access as above and contact us at the developer email shown on the Google consent screen; we will delete any stored tokens and cached metrics for your account.
